This piece represents rebellion and legacy. I used the face not as a portrait, but as a symbol of resistance and voice. The flowers, cotton and colorful corn explode from the mouth and chest because culture can’t be silenced — it grows even in the hardest places.


The vibrant tones and street-style clothing connect my Afro-Peruvian roots with the global urban movement. I wanted to show that my heritage isn’t something fragile. It’s loud, powerful and alive.
