This piece is inspired by one of my father’s favorite movies. I had to paint it because it represents more than cinema — it represents memories, heritage, and the bond between generations.


The flowers and the Peruvian corn reflect where I come from. They symbolize my culture and the raw beauty of my roots. The red petals stand for intensity and struggle, while the white flowers represent innocence and the inner purity that survives even in a violent world. The black corn represents history, identity, and resilience. The cotton shows softness, humanity, and the vulnerability that exists behind every character.


This film teaches about ambition, power, evolution, and the price of choices. Painting it is a tribute not only to the movie, but also to my father — the one who introduced me to it. It shaped my childhood and became a part of our story.


So this artwork is more than a scene.


It’s a memory, a legacy, and a personal symbol of family, culture, and passion.
